Contact Us for a Tour
You may begin the enrollment process by contacting us for a tour of the campus. Taking a tour of our school will allow you to experience our facility; structured classrooms, Sammy G’s Café, Gompers Boundless® Park and Playground, the Jeanette .E. Daley Accessible garden and full size indoor gym.
-
Meet with our Education Team
Following your tour, we encourage you sit down with our Director of Education to discuss your child’s specific needs. It is very helpful to bring a copy of your child’s records; Individual Education Plan (IEP) and the Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET). This provides GPS with an opportunity to ensure the needs of the child will be adequately served in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE).

Fill out an Application
After meeting with our director, you will need to consider one of three options to pay for your child’s tuition; out placement approved by your home district, an Empowerment Scholarship (ESA), awarded yearly by the Arizona Department of Education, and private pay.

Schedule and Intake Meeting
Once the tuition option has been determined, a meeting will be scheduled to plan the transition to GPS. An enrollment packet will be provided requesting medical and authorizations for the student to attend GPS. The intake meeting will also be an opportunity to evaluate the IEP, and determine if any changes or modifications to the education plan need to be made for the new learning environment.
